1. For the primer/electrophoretic layer

The electrophoretic layer can be approximately regarded as the paint layer directly attached to the body steel plate, so it is also called the primer. In fact, there is a phosphating layer formed in the pretreatment between the electrophoretic layer and the steel plate. Very thin, only a few um.

The role of the primer is mainly two, one is to prevent rust, and the other is to improve the bonding force of the paint layer. The anti-rust ability of the primer is the most important and the most critical among the four paint layers of the automotive paint.

2.For Colored coat

There're so many colors to choose for automotive paint, the quality of the paint layer spraying directly determines the expressiveness of the body color, and the functionality is very important.

How to produce these colored coat?

First step is to mixer powder and liquid together by the high speed disperser, which disperser the powder and liquid as the paste, then go to sand mill, as the automotive paint has many colors, which one set sand mill produce one color, usually, we suggest choosing medium or small capacity sand mill but more quantities for different colors, which is more efficient and can produce more colors. After the sand mill, we should use the agitator mixer to mix the color more evenly, same with sand mill, the capacity of agitator mixer is no need too big, but should match each color. Then we will use the bag filter to filter some impurities, which the color will be brighter and it will fit more closely with the car surface. 3.For Clear coat

The clear coat is the outermost layer of the automotive paint, a clear coat that we can directly touch with our fingertips. The role of varnish is mainly to improve the gloss of the paint surface, enhance the texture, prevent ultraviolet rays, and prevent minor scratches.

As the clear coat has a characteristic that it will solidify when exposed to air, When mixing clear coat, we can not let the clear coat contact with air, so use the customized nitrogen agitator mixer is necessary, the nitrogen agitator mixer should have round closed head, and also have a small port to connect the nitrogen source, the nitrogen will come into the agitator mixer all the time when mixing; In addition, the nitrogen agitator mixer is of slow speed with reducer, which has stronger power to mix the material and the mixing effect will be better.
