Operation basis of double planetary mixer

During the operation of the double planetary vacuum power mixer, two parallel agitators operate at the set fixed rotation ratio. They rotate along the mixing drum at the same time and rotate rapidly. At the same time, there are scrapers in the mixing drum that rotate synchronously with the revolution, so that the materials move from the inner wall of the mixing drum to the vicinity of the agitator to achieve different shearing purposes.

Why choose a double planetary mixer

The planetary mixer has a unique and novel mixing form, with two or three multi-layer paddle mixers and 1-2 automatic scrapers inside the kettle. While the mixer rotates around the axis of the kettle, it also rotates at different speeds around its own axis at high speed, causing the material to undergo complex movements inside the kettle, subjected to strong shear and kneading. Its efficiency is usually several times that of a regular mixer.

 The common planetary agitator usually consists of two low-speed planetary agitators (usually multi-blade type, Fried Dough Twists type, and frame type), one or two high-speed planetary agitators (dispersion plates), and wall scrapers. The characteristics of the planetary mixer are: the host adopts the design of a planetary gear reducer, low noise, and high mechanical efficiency, which can save power use and reduce equipment space.
