Vacuum Double Planetary Mixer

The double planetary mixer consists of a low speed mixing device and a high speed dispersion device. The low speed stirring device can achieve low rotational speed, high power, and large equivalent stirring of the slurry in the material cylinder under vacuum or inert gas protection.

Slurry with different characteristics combined with different forms of agitators can form a turbulent flow field that does not change with the rotation of the agitator during the mixing process of a double planetary mixer. The turbulent flow field can realize efficient and thorough mixing of materials.

 The dispersion device of a dual planetary power mixer also has various forms, such as a high-speed dispersion disk and a high-speed dispersion emulsifier. Its mechanism is to form a strong shear stress field within a local range, rapidly dispersing secondary aggregates, reducing their particle size, and promoting their rapid dissolution.

Working Principle of Double Planetary Mixer

Reasonable flow field design is the key to determine the mixing effect of the mixing equipment.Our company designs the mixing flow field as a spiral propulsion turbulent flow field along the revolution direction in response to the user's demand for multi-component and multi-component production processes, as well as the characteristics of material viscosity and fluidity.

 This flow field can enable stirred and dispersed mixing to establish a stable three-dimensional turbulence of the material at a matching rotational and rotational speed, thereby achieving faster, better, and more stable mixing requirements.

 In the design of the stirred flow field, we have used an accurate computer-aided three-dimensional simulation flow field analysis method. Starting from the mechanism of mixing and dispersion, through actual simulation and prototype testing, we have found the most reasonable form of mixing and dispersion and its matching method.

 The Stirring Prize adopts a double spiral form similar to the asteroid operation pattern. Two pairs of stirring paddles are positioned at 90 degrees on the same rotary table, rotating around the axis of revolution while rotating themselves. During operation, the pinch point is automatically established for the double prize.

6. All awards are made of AISI304 material and then processed and molded in one step. Ensure small changes in the kneading gap of the mixer.

Throughout the entire process of product development, the double planetarty mixer adopts computer-aided mechanical design and utilizes finite element analysis technology to thoroughly solve the problems of deformation, displacement, and interference caused by the heating of the main shaft and bearings during the operation of the mixing equipment. More reasonable and precise transmission makes equipment operation more stable and maintenance more convenient.
